COOKIE POLICY AND LIST OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Rogue Harbour Game Studio Inc. ("Rogue Harbour", "us", "we" or "our") does not use any cookies or other tracking technologies at rogueharbour.com (the "Website") but we do use some tracking technologies in our mobile games (each, a “Game”).  By using a Game, you consent to the use of essential tracking technologies.

 Cookies in general, are small pieces of text files stored in your web browser or a Game and allow us or a third-party to recognize you and make your next visit more seamless, including by not requiring you to re-enter your login information.  Cookies can be "persistent" or "session" cookies.  Persistent cookies remain on your device when you go offline, while session cookies are deleted as soon as you close your Game or device. Tracking technologies operate similarly.

 When you use the Game, Rogue Harbour may place tracking technology files on your mobile device.  Rogue Harbour uses essential tracking technologies that are required to authenticate users, operate the Game and prevent fraudulent use of Rogue Harbour’s other services.  Essential tracking technologies that Rogue Harbour uses include: 

  • PlayFab – collects information necessary to provide the service to you including: your IP address, MAC address, regional geolocation information (not closer than state level), device information (such as model number, operating system type, version number) unique device ID, email address, validation information and analytics event tracking. Changing your PlayFab setting may cause your Game to stop working.

  • AppsFlyer or Singular – Collects IP addresses and advertising identifiers for marketing purposes. Privacy Policy.

  • Google Firebase – collects information necessary to provide the service to you including: your Display name, Email, Phone number, Profile pic url, Firebase user identifier, Provider ID. Privacy Policy.

  • GetSocial – tracks if a Game is installed on your device and provides device information which includes your IP address, MAC address, regional geolocation information (not closer than provincial/state level – and this information is not accessible to us).

  • Microsoft – collects device information such as your IP address, MAC address which is used only for crash reports and related analytics. Crash reports and analytics are sent to Visual Studio App Center.

  • deltaDNA – collects device information which includes your IP address, MAC address, unique device ID, validation information, regional geolocation information (not closer than provincial/state level – and this information is not accessible to us) and other non-personal data used for analytics.

 

Rogue Harbour also uses non-essential cookies and tracking technologies on the Game in order to improve the user experience and help market our company.  You may change the settings of our non-essential tracking technologies either through the Game or by using the links below:   

  • AppLovin – tracks your ad views using your device information which includes your IP address, MAC address, regional geolocation information (not closer than provincial/state level – and this information is not accessible to us).

 

If you would like to delete cookies or tracking technologies entirely or instruct your device to delete or refuse cookies or tracking technologies, please do so through your Game settings.  You may also email us at support@rogueharbour.com.  In some cases, you may lose all access to the Game if you make this request if such technology is essential for the Game to function. Be aware that if you delete tracking technologies or refuse to accept them, you might not be able to use all of the features of the Game or the Game may not work at all.

 

Residents of the European Economic Area have certain privacy rights pursuant to the General Data protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and Directive 2002/58/EC of the European Parliament (“e-Privacy Directive”).  Rogue Harbour complies with the GDPR and e-Privacy Directive when it comes to cookies and tracking technologies.   • Mailchimp – collects a user’s email address when the user submits their email address to us. Privacy Policy

  • Apple – collects Apple identifiers used for login purposes. Privacy Policy

  • Facebook Login – Optional login method. Privacy Policy

  • AppCenter – collects information from device logs when their game/app crashes. Privacy Policy

  • Google – collects Android and Google identifiers used for login purposes. Privacy Policy
